A few more pics from the Reno trip...then July
A few more pics from our Reno trip. Laney grew a mile from the time we took this first pic to when we took the Cheyenne pics one month later...she is so very tall now it's hard to believe.
Our turtle friends down on the river by the feedlot...they are too funny...you have to sneak up quietly and as soon as they see you they get into the water.
Cheyenne Frontier Days...I took so many pics on my phone this year...just a few on my camera...life was a little crazy.
These were about the dumbest purchase of our lives...$30 for lemonade...yep, for real, still can't believe we paid that for something that costs pennies to make. Anyway, we were dying of thirst and so we shared "the tanker"...the girls carrying these were too funny.
Tana fell and bumped her chin...kind of...Tana was sitting on a blanket on the floor, Laney ripped it out from underneath her sending Tana flying onto her face. I guess we all have our moments of weakness. I hear Laney praying by herself, sometimes I can overhear what she says..."Lord, please help me be nicer to my sister...I really need some help sometimes." Gotta love her heart.
Discovered where tarantulas live...Arizona. This one got wiped out in the rain, but I've run across a few live ones...not my favorite, they are pretty big.
The wash, over our road to the barn...it actually took 5 rain storms before the road was washed out. After this storm, it dried up and you could drive right across.
Laney - 1st day of KINDERGARTEN
Tana sneaking into the picture :)
Tana's first day of PRESCHOOL
My swimmers! Laney can swim completely by herself, no floatation devices, jumps in touches the bottom, races Scott across the big pool over and over...she's a great swimmer.
Tana is swimming a few strokes at a time, going under, floating, jumping into the hot tub and getting very good at swimming across the big pool with a floatation device. She's able to swim for a couple strokes with no help but doesn't have the confidence yet to go it alone across the big pool. Not that you can tell that she has any fear at all in these pics :)
I love these jumping pics of both of them...they just make me laugh!
This great horned owl was on our pool fence one night. He was really big and flew off after I took this pic.
