Laney went to her first rodeo. She was in the goat tail untieing, poles, barrels, and the dummy roping. She did so good, and River was perfect! I love that horse. She went just fast enough ;)

All Laney could talk about after was practicing and when was the next rodeo. She did too...she practiced a bunch and last week went to her second rodeo and won 2nd in the poles! She watched to big kids do the goat tieing and she practiced that at home too...she'd run down the arena, jump off, and tie the legs of our dummy together :) I LOVE River during this too...she just stands there and waits for Laney, never moves a foot, just hangs out because that's her job, taking care of her small. They are a pretty adorable pair!

 Ty and Scott practiced a couple times before we headed to Reno...pics on the next post. Got some pretty great shots of them roping. I love Diesel...I made a couple pictures a little bigger of the ones I love...he is so easy to take pictures of anyway, but these were so him.

We had really horrible news happen right before we left for Reno. Shiloh's sister Wendy died. She was 31. My heart just breaks for our dear friend Nathan. He's now lost both of his children. Sometimes you have no idea what to say, or how to be there, but just loving and praying for someone is all you can do. It still feels so unbelievable, so heartbreaking! I just want to send love and prayers out there to his family, for him to know we are so very sorry and that we are here whenever he needs us. Those hard days that come down the road, know that you have people you can call and talk to. We love you!
