"it's no big deal, Mom"
Nearing Tana's first birthday is making me notice so much about how fast they both change. Tana is now doing things that I remember Laney doing; turning the water on the bath tub on and off, opening up drawers and tossing out all of the contents, getting a hold of the end of the toilet paper and unrolling the entire roll. Laney asks me why she is doing these things...I asked her the same thing :) she just gives me a funny look. Some funny things Laney said this week are "I think that's enough, Mom" when I was filling the coffee machine. "Don't move, you made such a mess, Dad. Here let me get a rag for you" when he spilled coffee grounds on the counter. "It's no big deal, Mom" when Laney spilled her milk on the floor. "My hair is all wrinkly" from having braids in it. "Steer, steer, steer, Clifford" for when we sort steers and heifers :) thought that was so cute. "When I was a baby I didn't like coconuts (Do you like coconuts now, I asked) No, I like marshmallows."
