Laney turns 2 1/2,
This week has been a bit of a whirlwind. Scott hasn't been feeling great, had some episodes of severe debilitating dizziness and vomiting that have had us concerned and to several doctors. We learned this week that he has an inner ear viral infection. He's feeling pretty good and we think we might have it under control now. Newt is doing remarkable. He's walking, running, playing, and being his old self for the most part. His splint got taken off yesterday, and he has a much smaller neck brace on. He's so happy, and so itchy. His coordination still isn't perfect but he has come so far so fast. We went and saw "Aunt Lissa, Gabby, and Kenna" this week. Laney had a great time playing on the swings and slide and in the sprinkler. We took calves down to Cheyenne for Frontier Days which got underway with slack Wednesday. Laney is loving getting to ride her horse everyday with Daddy and working her calves. She is playing 'pretend' everything. She pretends with her toys, her tea set, her toy horse Lucky, and plays out little scenarios. She makes cocoa, bandages her horse, ties her horse up, saddles and unsaddles, and rides her horse Lucky singing "ridin the range, ridin the range, ridin the range, ya-hoo", it's so funny. Mor Mor came up for a day while we were in Cheyenne and spent the day with us. Laney loved swinging, climbing a tree, and rolling in the grass. Tana is growing up so fast. She is waving, clapping, signing potty and milk, saying "hi", "dada", "mama...mom", and "baba"...she makes a gargling sound that sounds like chewbacca. She is rocking up to her hands and knees from a sitting position, and sometimes reaches out for toys leaving her weight on just one hand.
