Tana 7 months

Sorry I'm so late posting this week...had a rough week. Newt got hit by a car Friday June 24. He lived but is in really bad shape. We don't know what happened...best we can figure is he jumped out of the pickup when Scott was stopped for road construction and then got hit. We started with him at our local clinic and then we transferred him to CSU where they put this bee costume on him :) He broke two vertebrae in his neck, but didn't need surgery, just this brace for 6-8 weeks, plus some rehab. He can't walk as of now, but last night took 4 steps. He's able to roll from side to side, onto his back, and up on his chest to eat and drink. His doctors all agree he will run and play again...just will take time. They predicted in a week or so he'd try and walk and he is doing that before the week mark of his release. Tana has been teething and Scott got food poisoning...so I'm just getting my first spare second to blog. Tana turned 7 months last Sunday which I'm finding hard to believe. She is waving and starting to sign potty. I finally got the butt scoot on video...she can scoot a couple feet. I also put a video of Laney playing ball with the dogs...Molly and Sadie are the ball players for the most part, Jo and Lee just referee.
