Kansas City trip

This week we headed back to Kansas City for my cousin's wife's funeral. It was a lot of car time for the girls, but we had a great trip. Laney swam, and swam, and swam. She is now able to swim by herself with the help of a noodle or your hand barely supporting her tummy. She just dog paddles along, I can't believe how she just takes off. She went under water for the first time this trip...unintentionally...she comes back up, catches her breath, and says "mommy, I went under water" with this huge smile. She loves to swim so much. As we were driving along she would see a swimming pool and yell "Mom...look at that pool." She got some sunglasses on the trip that she loves and wont take off :) She wore them to the funeral :) Some funny things she's saying are "Car sit" instead of car seat, "selt beat" instead of seat belt, and "embolade" instead of lemonade. Newt is walking and running all over the place! He still has to wear that brace for another 4 weeks but he's doing so good. We took him for a ride on the buggy...as you can tell, he was very happy! Tana is growing so fast. She is saying "Mama", "Dada" all the time, and "hi"...she waves and says "hi Dada"...it's so freaking cute!
