"that's a big ol'..."

As you can tell from the pictures, Laney is BUSY! She loves to run to the mailbox yelling "so cited, so cited to go to da mailbox...yippee...wahoo." She has been saying "that's a big ol'..." about all sorts of things. "That's a big ol' cow" "that's a big ol' bird" "that's a big ol' poop" ...you get the picture. I was helping her set up her tea set, she wanted to wear her pearl necklace and she picked out her outfit. Well I cut my finger on a sharp piece on one of the plates and bled on her carpet. She says "be gentle, mommy, don't bleed on my carpet, stop it. Bleeding on my carpet makes a big ol' mess. You know better than that, mommy." Tana is signing now a little. She responds to me asking her if she wants 'milk' and to 'eat' and she will sign back 'milk'. She has understood the 'milk' sign since Easter, but is finally able to sign back which is so cute. We go for her checkup tomorrow so I'll have a weight and "height" on her...she is like a little brick. My arms are getting pretty strong. I picked her up the other day though and pulled a muscle in my neck/shoulder/back area...owie! She has started eating solid foods now, and eats so much. She'll eat half a banana in a sitting, and almost 2 tablespoons of sweet potatoes too. She loves to eat.
