Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! This week was way better than last week! Newt was able to come home and is now walking and running in 20-30 step intervals, resting in between. He's doing so good it made me cry to see him trying to play with the other dogs. I got a harness vest for him that really helps. I'm able to stabilize him as he's running and walking without getting in his way, and when he's tired he doesn't just crash...he looks a bit like a dog purse :) Jo got a haircut :) She is soooo soft and looks (and feels) like a puppy. She was hot and her hair was getting mats from jumping in and out of the water tanks so we shaved her :) She is so cute and feels so much better. Laney, oh dear Laney...this child has a serious affinity to mud and water...we were just out with Newt and she goes over lays face down in the mud and "swims" her arms making a mud angel. We had to wash her part of the way off in her swimming pool outside, then we took her into the shower and she nearly fell asleep in the shower. When we were down picking Newt up, we had lunch with "Aunt Lissa, Gabby, and Kenna" as Laney says. We had such a good time swinging and playing. Tana was hysterical in the little baby swing. She was so relaxed and just giggled and smiled. It was so cute.
