Technically Full Term - 37 weeks!

Just when I think that I can't look or feel any bigger, another second passes :0

6 1/2 pounds is about what our little Bun weighs, and is technically full term. Last week at my doc appointment, nothing, nothing at all was happening, which is fine. The doctor was actually pleased with that, she said I was still quite high. Which I kind of already figured because I assumed that if and when Bun had "dropped" I'd be able to breath again!

Bun actually had a quiet day Saturday. I was shocked, but there was very little movement for nearly the whole day. That was followed by a super kicker day yesterday though :) Through the night, the day, and back into the night, Bun was on the move. I go to the doc's again tomorrow, so we'll see if Bun is any closer to wanting out :)

The Final Stretch - 36 weeks!

Wow, my ninth month! Well that is ninth calendar month, starting my tenth lunar month.

Bun is about 6 pounds this week, almost ready for the outside world. All systems almost a go :) It is getting harder and harder to get comfortable. Just sitting up straight is not that comfortable anymore, and any reclined position at all makes it difficult to breathe. I feel very very stretched! And Bun is constantly moving still. I'm thinking that I'm just in for it :) I have noticed that it does have little sleep cycles where it moves more like it's dreaming, but it's very uncommon for it to be still longer than 45 minutes. Some of it's movements take my breath away because they are in awkward places. It still loves to kick my ribs, but now it feels like it's grinding it's heel along them and then down my right side as hard as it can push. I guess I'd feel pretty cramped in there too. Hopefully not too much longer and it can have all the space it can get :) Bun also gets the hiccups now. I've felt them a few times, they are very rhythmical and last a long time, poor thing, how do you hold your breath when you don't breathe yet?

I start tomorrow with my weekly appointments, to see if anything is happening to get ready for the big day, so I'll probably update again this week if there is anything new :)

35 weeks

Bigger, bigger and even bigger...can't believe that it keeps getting bigger! I'm ready already....this kid moves like it doesn't have any room left, poor thing keeps poking me in the ribs, sticking it's little butt out, I feel bad that it's so squished in there.

The book says that it's 5 1/2 pounds! Growing and gaining about 1/2 pound a week...Bun that is :) well heck I guess that means me too. Almost done with my eighth month, I almost can't believe it's almost here. We are so ready and excited :)

34 weeks

Feeling larger by the minute! Bun is growing so fast...5 pounds now...like a little bag of sugar :)

It's movements are so funny. Last night it turned and stuck it's little butt out against my belly button again. It's so uncomfortable for me when it does that, but it's cute how it maneuvers around to get into that position...it gets all squirmy and then it must just push it's little legs straight and shove it's butt hard up against my belly button. Scott held it for a little bit and got a really sweet look in his eyes when I told him it was it's little butt...then I rubbed on it a little and it moved off to the side :) Then when we were taking this picture it was kicking big kicks, it was cracking me up...so active.

We are feeling very ready now. We are just both so excited to meet little Bun and finally see what we have :)

33 weeks!

Wow...I'm getting closer! Baby is taking up so much room now I'm having a hard time breathing, especially when I lay down. I find myself sort of gasping for breath when I sit up from laying down. I have to prop myself up on pillows at night just so I can get a breath.

Bun is still on the move all the time. It pokes it's little foot out where I can see and feel it's little heel, I'll rub on it and it will pull it away, then stick it back out, I'll rub on it and it will pull it away again. It's really cute. The book says it's close to 4 1/2 pounds already. It's growing so fast now, and so am I! I feel pretty good, I just feel like it's grown upwards and is taking even more lung space away from me :)
