Loving AZ!

 

This week was awesome. We've been relaxing as a family, and roping in the beautiful AZ sunshine! I'm really loving...we all are really loving this weather. Thanksgiving is sneaking up on me because this weather doesn't match this holiday in my brain! Uncle Scott, Aunt Diana, Lilia, and Grant came up for an overnight stay and thanks to Uncle Scott we got these great pictures. The cousins had quite a fun time together. Scott and I won our first check together this roping! We won 3rd. We've had a great week roping. The next roping was on a Wednesday and Scott won 2nd and 5th. Thursday I won 1st for the first time :) and yesterday I had an awesome day, roped the best and the most consistent that I've ever roped, and ended up 3rd and 5th! I'm SOOOO very blessed to have the NICEST horse in the world! Blueduck is so awesome! He's kind of a fruit loop all around the arena, sings to his friends, gets himself all lathered up and nervous, but when he backs in that corner he is ALL business and has NEVER once not done his job. I love him so much, he makes it so much fun. Mr. Diesel smoke is doing so great as well. What a sweet little horse he is. Scott was riding him the day we won together and he was awesome! That is only his 5th or 6th roping I think. Thursday we roped fresh steers that were all over the place and he got a little lost, but overall he's just improving so much. What really impresses me about him is his demeanor. He is as cool as a cucumber. NOTHING bothers him. He's just calm and collected, never gets anxious or excited, he's really so stinking beautiful too, man just gorgeous! I'm just really proud of Scott and his training. He's so good with getting all of his horses so confident about their job, its pretty darn impressive.
