An actual full week of roping!

 

This week has been really fun, we've gotten lots of rain and been able to rope every day! Thanks to Becca, we got some pics of me roping...oh so many mistakes I'm making in these shots, but some great shots too! I really had a fantastic week practicing and have been improving so much. It's so much fun when you finally get some elements figured out and it isn't just all a blur. Scott's little horse Diesel is just awesome! He is the bay with the super long mane and forelock, he's so cool, just love him. And Cat, FINALLY, is figuring out what he's supposed to do and man is he stopping! I should have posted the funniest picture of Scott draped over the saddle horn as Cat screams to a halt, but it's sorta painful even for me to look at. Anyway, glad he's finally getting the whole thing figured out. I really couldn't be happier with Blueduck, he's so awesome, love that horse so much! And Goose has just come leaps and bounds for me this week! He's been so quiet in the box, scoring like a rock! He has a ways to go yet, but he's doing so good! I tried to take some pics of the girls...haahaa they were harder than getting all the border collies to look in the same direction at the same time, but I still got some cute shots. I was going to take some family pics too but Scott was spraying weeds...maybe next week :) We are off to rope near Billings, MT this weekend!
