Wrap up Cheyenne and back to the practice pen

 

Oh to be 2 again and to potty wherever you need to...poor Tana is gonna kill me someday for that pic, but I just couldn't resist. The short go at "The Daddy of Them All" and she pees right there...it was so darn cute I had to post it. The bucks I got pics of on the way home from the grocery store just hoping across the road, there were 9 or 10 but I could only get those last 4 or 5 in the pics, so beautiful. A couple nights later I saw another buck cross in the same spot and he was even bigger. We visited the Goshen County Fair yesterday for a couple hours, took in the animal action, or lack there of...most everyone was just resting up for the Jr Livestock auction that afternoon. Laney and Tana just loved the pigs, the lambs, the goats, the chickens, the cattle, and the bunnies. They were so excited. We've been able to practice quite a bit, which has been wonderful. I've had probably the best practice week I've ever had. Each day I've just improved on one more thing, and although I still have so much to get better at, it's all feeling so much more natural. I've really been pleased with Goose or "Goo-man" as Tana calls him :) he is just getting it all figured out but is starting to put together some consistent runs. Takes the pressure off of Blueduck, who I tell all the time that he's an A+ team roping horse, cuz he IS, LOVE that horse! :) Thanks Di for taking some pictures! I seem to never get in any of them anymore...it's hard when you're always the one taking them. But I think my favorite is the one of Tana hugging me...not only is she a great hugger, but Laney's expression is so sweet, I just love that pic!
