First week at the Daddy...

 

Week 1 and almost week 2 complete at 'The Dad', fewest injuries on record in the calf roping, which is great! A shout out to Riley Pruitt for winning the first round! Apple doesn't fall far from that tree :) The girls have had a blast riding their horses, watching their calves, and just being dirt loving girls. I love the picture of Tana with her rope! That morning we went to watch the parade and Tana was so adorable loving on this random baby she met. Laney as usual had her hand on her hip taking it all in and analyzing everything. All in all it's been a good week. Scott and I roped at the World Series roping in Cheyenne that was last Saturday and Sunday, he and Pastor Scott won 6th in #10, they did great. Scott was really super pleased with (horse) Joe's performance, he really worked so good and they are just in an awesome rhythm. We have the Goshen County roping tomorrow and then the short round at Cheyenne Sunday. It's been nice to "get away" for a few days and not work quite as hard. Back at it Monday :)
