Happy Easter!

 

Happy Easter! Wickenburg is way better weather for an Easter egg hunt than Torrington! But it's so far not better for church :( Missing SONrise sooo much down here. I was wishing we were there on Easter so badly I nearly cried, so we tried the First Southern Baptist church here in Wickenburg...not that is was bad, just wasn't even close. There is just no substitute for Pastor Scott! I know I'm not supposed to get attached to the pastor, it should be about Jesus, but it's so much more enjoyable and awesome when you hear the Word from one like him! Then the girls and I went to visit Uncle Scott, Aunt Diana, Lilia and Grant, and the kids had a long fun afternoon outside in the pool and on the swings. Laney had found her Easter basket the night before SO MOM gave her the books and bunny and the Easter bunny just hid eggs this year. So much for trying to get something ready ahead of time. Then Scott came down for a few days and we did nothing, enjoyed the warm weather and pretty much did nothing, which was nice. Tana finally started to pedal by herself on her tricycle...she was so funny once she realized she was doing it by herself "looka me looka me, I ped-all-bymmmself, yippeeee". Laney has been 1. growing like a weed, she is so tall, but 2. she's becoming such an awesome kid. She came in and gave me a hug one day when I wasn't feeling like the best Mom in the world and she says "Jesus made me to love you, and He made you to love me. I love you, Mom."
