This week was freezing here! Not below zero, but windy and in the single digits and teens all week. It finally warmed up a bit yesterday, not warm, but warmer. The girls rode their bikes in the shop, but it was even too cold to do that for very long. Tana continues to do the squinty eyed smile pictures and now she mimics my face when I ask her to smile, by shoving her jaw forward as if she has an underbite. She makes me laugh. Laney was "rowing" in her duck boat with her "life belt" on...some book she read about it...she cracks me up. They both continue to change so fast. Tana remarkably so these last few months, every week something major seems to change. Pokey puppy can be a little naughty and chase the cats, therefore he gets yelled at. Tana doesn't like her puppy to get a spanking. She tells me very firmly "don't pank my puppy, Mom!" "Well, Tana, he's chasing the cats, that isn't nice to the cats." "Pokey in tubble, Mom, don't pank my puppy!" Her favorite foods right now are "mac a cheese, aaannn mah potAtoe, Mom...aaaannn pang-cakes, Mom...tank you." It's ridiculously cute!
