February blizzard time
We had a really nice week...not super warm, but low 50's, warm enough to be able to enjoy being outside a little. The girls got lots of riding in this week, horses and bikes both. Scott and I roped our roping toy, it was nearly dark every time, but we threw some loops. We are gearing up to start calving the heifers soon. The cows have started, we have a few on the ground and they are doing well. The heifers aren't supposed to start until March 1, but there are a pile bagging up already, so who knows what will happen. We are in the middle of a "blizzard"...looks bad tonight, but not sure what it will actually do. Nann and Nap are going to be parents...Nann is pregnant and due soon, I'm pretty sure her puppies will arrive just as all the heifers start to calve...I guess that's not the worst thing that could happen. Anyone who needs a dog needs to call us first :) good grief we will have a lot...it's like a border collie parade. We could host our own breed show, and have all the entries. Madness, it's all madness.
