Tana's TWO!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Seems impossible that Tana is 2 now. Monday we had a couple presents and Friday night, Art and Loretta came over for dinner. Tana is a little OCD I've noticed. If I put a book in the bookshelf upside down and ask her if that's right, she runs over "no no mommy, dis way" and turns it back right side up and makes sure it's in there and level. Once she put a book in and there was a crayon underneath the one side of it that made it lopsided. She quietly moved it around and wiggled it in there until finally she lifted it back out, peeked down in there and discovered the crayon, pulled it out and put the book back finally satisfied with herself. She is very particular about her plate being in the exact right direction before she will eat. The other day I handed her a plate with butterflies on it, it was upside down, simply because I had cut her food up and it was closer to that side. She turned it back right side up, then she started to eat. There are some other things too...for instance, I gave her 3 pairs of shoes to put back in her closet. I assumed she would just throw them on the floor, but when I went in her room those shoes were very neatly put away in her shoe caddy, pairs matched up, facing the right direction, all alike. Hopefully this continues ;) This last picture makes me laugh, Laney wanted me to take a picture of her hair...I don't even know. Oh, and the pink dress with the flowers is her favorite dress. If you'll recall the pink dress with the horse on it from almost two years ago...she wore it literally all day and all night every day...this is the replacement. I have to confiscate it to wash, but the second it comes out of the dryer it's back on her.
