"cheeeeese....see see see"
That expression just cracks me up...both the girls say "cheeeeeeese" while I'm taking their picture and then they both jump up and run over to "see see see" the picture. Tana sees herself making the squinty eyed pics and says "cuuute, me". Both the girls got their annual haircut this week. I say annual because the only evidence of me giving Laney a haircut was last January, and Tana has only had 1 haircut when she was very tiny. They both had tangles really bad so I trimmed them up and it's much easier to brush. No less crazy, just easier to brush. The bald eagle has found a dead coyote on our pivot and has been here everyday munching on it. I noticed it when our heifers were turned out on the pivot and were gathered around something. I couldn't tell what it was, I thought it might be a heifer that got hurt or down so I went out to check it out. As I was walking out there, it took off flying. The funny thing is it landed not very far away and 5 heifers took off after it trying to chase it and play with it. Nothing super new to report this week. My computer keeps acting up when I try and post so I'm trying a new way of uploading pics and it of course takes me forever to get it done so I'm late getting posted this week. It's been a year since Shiloh's accident...sometimes seems hard to believe that a year has passed, yet so much has happened in that time. We miss you friend...not a day goes by that we don't think of you. All the stuff around here that you've built, fixed, or helped us with, is a constant reminder of your life here. We really miss your humorous take on everything and your light-hearted approach to anything stressful. I laugh in remembering you, just like you always made me laugh when you were here. Scott and I were just laughing about you nearly falling off your horse because of the bale feeder...I can't remember the comment you made, but I remember that it nearly made me fall of my horse from laughing so hard. You are missed my friend, so truly missed.
"The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm 23 NLT
