Tana's 1 :)

Well it's here, she's a year! That went so incredibly fast! She is walking everywhere now. She was taking some steps, falling, then just crawling the rest of the way to her destination. But now she is walking, falling, getting up and walking to her destination. She is signing so much, 'frog', 'turtle', 'drink', 'all done', 'potty', 'dog', 'bath', 'book', and 'bird'. She is pretty much babbling about stuff I don't know about, but she says "hi", "mom", "mama", "dada", "aney" for Laney, and "oooo" :) She has learned how to make a kiss noise and does it all the time. And when she hears the song "if you're happy and you know it..." she claps her hands with the song and smiles :) The birthday party was fun. I planned it for after the girls naps and of course Tana wouldn't sleep in the afternoon and had to take a 30 min snoozer in the middle of her party. She loved her gifts...hugged most of them, and danced to anything that played music. She got a singing card and still carries it around opening it and dancing to the song. Tana wasn't too crazy about the cupcake, but I think she had a fun birthday anyways. The crazy looking science project on my Thanksgiving plate was purple mashed potatoes...they were scary looking, but yummy ;) Laney helped mix the apples and cinnamon with Gramma Sheri and a couple of times had a "splosion" where a few apples shot out of the bowl. She also talked about the "yunions" hurting her eyes when I was cutting onions. Laney is now answering "yes, indeed" to us...came from a book ;) and she loves feeding Tana "yogrit". We had yet another branding this year :) to brand our fall calves. Tana was loving riding 'her' horse...it was really Shiloh's but she wouldn't get off. She kept crying when I tried to take her off...but I think eventually it got too cold and she was willing to let go. Thanks to Uncle Volk, I now have a "nothing but the hair" picture....well, of Scott and part of me at least :)
