Merry Christmas 2011

I know I have a history of photographing Miss Tana with bruises on her face, but the red on her nose this time is not blood, we had raspberries for breakfast. She LOVES raspberries and ate a whole pint of them. Christmas was pretty funny this year. Tana has been enthralled with the Christmas tree, she had a hard time not ripping off ornaments. Even though Laney and I only decorated the top half, the temptation was so great that Tana stood on her very tip toes and still managed to grab a few sparkly balls. She would also squat and pick up gifts while making a loud grunting noise as if they were terribly heavy. On Christmas morning, Tana was mostly fascinated with the paper and the bows, the ribbons and the ripping, the sparkly snowman paper is now in the toy box she loved it so much. Laney opened everyone's presents. As the gift would become unveiled, she'd say "oh look, it's a brand new ....." Santa brought them a new trampoline for the house AND the new barn, so they can jumpy jumpy jumpity jump as much as their little hearts desire. I had a very good Christmas as well, Scott bought me a new saddle...sooo cool....we got some new boots and other tack too...very blessed! We went to Papa and Mor Mor's for Christmas Eve again this year and had a wonderful time. We missed Danell, Kent, Tabor, and Asia, and Mike, Stacey, Vivi, and Addie, but had a wonderful time with everyone who was there. We went to Christmas Eve service at their church and Laney sang "Bah bah Black Sheep" the whole time :)
