"Here Mommy, I brought you flowers."

I was cooking breakfast for Laney one morning while she and Tana played in the living room. I walked over to pick up Tana and found the 3 little pigs on the floor. I asked Laney what the pigs were doing and she answered "They are just getting a snack, Mommy." We had another kitten show up here. Buzz and Nokie have a lot of fun mousing and hunting together, but sometimes Nokie has enough of Buzz constantly wanting to play and she gets a little cranky at him. I think he must have gone out and gotten this new friend and brought him back so he'd have someone to play with. I thought maybe he was our neighbor's kitten, but no one will claim him, so he's now part of the herd. He's so sweet and as you can tell, Laney loves him and carries him everywhere with her. We named him Max. Tana is so close to crawling...she took a "step" with her knee this week, and she can go from laying on her tummy or back, up to a sitting position, and kinda pushes backwards around on her tummy. She still butt scoots which just makes me laugh. The pics of her on the buggy make me laugh. I carry her in my carrier when we are riding around, but the other day I needed to load mineral and it's to hard to lift the bags with her in the carrier, so I seat belted her into the buggy while I loaded and unloaded mineral, she loved it. Laney is becoming quite the cowgirl. She and I went riding the other day and she told me all sorts of stories. Jo and Lee went with us as we rode through our cows on the grass pivots, and Laney says "on the by side, Jo, on the by side Lee, down Jo, good job Jo" I was dying laughing, and the dogs actually listen to her! She brings me flowers all the time. She goes out to my rose bushes and picks off the roses and brings me all the petals and smooshed flowers...it's so cute. When she does it she says "Here, Mommy, I brought you flowers" then she hugs me. Yeah, I know, right?! Our TV died for good so I took some pics of Scott saying goodbye :) and then Tana was just passed out ready for her nap on the floor...they looked just a like. The pics of Laney in the snake skin "cowbee boots"...I don't even know...but I have to say I did not buy those for her, nor the outfit she has on with them, they were hand-me-downs...she loves them...that's all that matters, right?
