Tana turns 8 months, cuts first tooth
This week has been a busy one...we still have calves at Cheyenne Frontier Days but we were getting our fill of the heat and the driving so we took a couple days to spend at home too. We went to the Scottsbluff Zoo and water park, and have been swimming at the Lingle Pool almost every night. Laney is so close to swimming on her own without the noodle. Tana is 8 months already, hard to believe, and cut her first tooth yesterday. Her lower left front tooth finally broke through. She is so close to crawling. She rolls up from a sitting position to her hands and knees and turns, sits back down, rolls around, butt scoots :) which still makes me laugh, just not quite crawling yet. She eats a lot! She loves everything I put in front of her :) and she is all business when she's eating. Get it to my mouth now, please :) Laney has been playing pretend all the time with everything and everyone. We are having pretend drinks, pretend food, saddling and unsaddling her toy horses, all sorts of stuff. One of my favorites to watch is when Laney takes her tea set and pretend feeds Tana. She will ask Tana if she wants blueberries, let's say, and Tana "eats" it off the spoon that Laney puts in her mouth and then gets this look on her face like she's not sure she tastes blueberries...then Laney will say "mmmm, isn't that good Tana?" and Tana just smiles, like she's not sure what she's agreeing with but happy to oblige. It's so cute.
