Tana is 5 months/Happy Easter
This video is of Laney dancing...yes she's naked but it's so cute when she dances. We had a busy week this week. Great Grandma Marge and Great Grandpa Cork came down for a visit, and Marge helped me with the girls and all the cooking for 2 of our 3 brandings this weekend. Friday we branded here at the house, Saturday we branded over on a farm we have leased, and Monday we branded down near the feedlot. We still aren't finished...we aren't even finished calving at this point, but at least we have the first bunch done and ready to go to grass as soon as the snow melts off the ranches. Saturday we colored Easter eggs. I showed Laney how to use one of those wire egg holders to gently put the eggs in the coloring cups and how to gently take them back out. Well she tried it, her egg kept falling off, so she just grabbed the egg and threw it in the cup, splashing blue coloring all over herself and Tana. Tana just flapped her arms and got all excited. Laney just picked up another egg, aimed and threw it too. Most cracked just a little as they hit the glass table through the plastic cup. Sunday morning, Laney went in search of her eggs. The plastic ones she cracked open to find little bunny crackers inside. The real ones she held over her bucket and squished to bits with one hand...totally crushed them with her right hand. I was going to make her egg salad...
I'm a little surprised that Tana is already 5 months old. Time really does keep going faster and faster. She is rolling over to her belly now, but can't figure out how to get her arm out of the way. She gets onto her tummy and growls with her face in her little mat. I go and roll her back over and she smiles and kicks...she is such a happy little baby! So mellow and sweet. We love her so much, she's hard not to just adore.
