36 weeks pregnant with Laney

36 weeks pregnant with baby #2

36 weeks pregnant with baby #2

This week has been windy, cold, and rainy, so Laney only got to ride her horse for just a little bit on the only halfway decent day this week. We had a busy week though. Laney turned 21 months, and I turned 36 weeks pregnant. I put a belly picture up that we took on Sunday, and a picture up from when I was 36 weeks pregnant with Laney for comparison. Mor Mor and Papa came up and "helped" paint the room, they painted the whole thing, and moved all the furniture all around, I was on Laney occupying duty :) It feels sooo good to finally have the room ready for baby #2, little bambino will be happy. We turned the "old" nursery into Laney's room and the "new" nursery is the other guest room upstairs. We did it similarly, but emphasized yellow rather than green and added pink. I put a few pics up too. I'm 36 weeks this week, almost 37, and at my doctors appointment last Wednesday I was dilated 1 cm. My doctor doesn't think I'll go in the next week or so, but suspect this one might come a bit early...but who really knows really. Laney is such a little talker now!! I can hardly keep up with her words...I get a lot of them, but she is combining words and saying 2 and 3 words together...really it's just a running commentary of the words she knows in random order. She is saying "seat", "sit", "sock", "bus" for bath, "hup e two" for the jungle book elephants march that goes hup two three four :) She is saying "mine", "oat", "push", "dough", "toe dough", "dose" for gross, "doose" for goose, "duckie", "hun" for hen, "ant", "boat", "mickey mouse", "nuggie" for snuggle, "happies" for happy face, "heart" with a faint New York sounding 'r', "bucky" and "bunkie" for blankie, "buggy", "here" for hair, and "woof" for wolf. She grabbed the baby mat out of the closet while we were organizing and played so much with it. She also started wanting to play in her "house" the box. She is so creative and so cute! I really love the pictures of her on her horse...she gets very serious and serene up there. She sometimes waves her arms and says "hi, hi, hi" at the calves when we are moving some, copying her daddy when he says "hey, hey" at them. She loves to feed her horse, and Newt :)
