"do be do be do"

I really did not intend for her to be wearing pink in every single picture this week...but I definitely got some funny shots. The outfit that she picked out herself, the pink t-shirt with the snow boots, seems like something I would have worn as a child. In fact I have specific memories of some pink snow boots I wore in elementary school that I'm not sure I ever took off, I nicknamed them my "she-rah boots". But I digress...
Laney is talking so much more this week. She is now saying "house", "shoes", "cheese", "meat", "sauce", "bye bye", "yeah", "boot", "toot" for cute, "beets" although we had beets she actually means beans, "ouch", and she sings "do be do be do be" when she wants to read her book The Jungle Book. Scott and I went to a friends wedding in Denver over the weekend and on the drive down there Laney was being cute in her car seat, as usual, and I asked her to say thank you, well she immediately blew me a kiss. Of course Scott and I both laughed, so now she does that a lot :) She is also saying quite a few letters when we read her alphabet books. "B", "D", "E", "G", "O", "P", "T", and "U". She is in love with pears, loves them...but the store didn't have any good regular pears this last time I went, so I bought red pears...she thinks they are apples. They were so good, we ate 3 of them in like 20 minutes, she had 1 1/2 by herself. But she always says "apple" when we pull up to the grocery store or when she wants one at home. I keep telling her that they are pears, but she doesn't believe me I guess. The almost all black faced dog is Tuffy, he is obsessed with Mow, wont stop following him, sleeps staring at him. Then the other pics are of Lee, I'm not sure I ever got that many pics of her up when we got her, but these of her and Laney I thought were so cute, she LOVES Laney, and is such a sweet little dog, we just love her. Tuffy is doing really good as well. Still cowering a bit if things move to quickly around him, but he is getting much better. He found a porcupine on Sunday, got a muzzle full of quills, poor guy had to get knocked out at the vet to get them all out, "ouch puppy" as Laney would say.
