16 Months & First branding

16 Months old already, last year right now she was just starting to smile and sit by herself, now she is running, laughing, and talking. Amazing how fast they change. Laney had her first branding this week. Wednesday we branded the calves off our new cows over in Rock River. The whole community over there came and helped. Laney had such a blast, roping herself, running and chasing after calves, playing with her daddy, collecting rocks with her new friend, and just being a crazy kid. She had a seriously long nap after getting all that fresh air that day. She has now started to feed the dogs by herself. She mostly gets the food in the bowls, but the dogs dont seem to mind the little bits spilled on the floor :)
