Happy Birthday 1 year old!

Wow, 1 year old! I can hardly believe that she's ONE! Grandma Sheri, Great Grandma Marge, and Great Grandpa Cork came out to visit and celebrate Laney's first birthday. Laney loves riding her horses so Daddy took her for a birthday ride on Blue Duck which she loved! I made her an organic cake shaped like a cow which Laney really liked. She squished the icing in her fingers and ate it. She didn't eat a lot but for a kid who doesn't get sugar she was on a bit of a sugar rush for most of the night :) Saturday we had a party for her with all the neighbors and some family. Grandpa Tim and Mor Mor came up to join us. She got a whole lot more loot, but while the adults and other little kids ate cake, she played in her kitchen cabinet...she was totally in her own little world. She is walking somewhat...she offically took 2 independant steps on Saturday night without holding on to anything. She walks holding our hands and all around the furniture, but just hasn't gathered the gumption to take off on her own yet. She really seems to like it when I notice when she stands up randomly, she makes her "oh" face and smiles. She also loves to pick up her shirt and point to her belly button, she's really cute. Everyday seems to bring more suprises. We just love her, she is too funny!
