Almost Walkin'
This week has been full of changes, just like pretty much every other week :) Laney is already "walking" down the couch. She lets go with one hand and almost lets go with the second hand, but then sits down. She loves to dance to her music, it's so funny to watch. We finally found some snow pants which it looks like she will be able to use tomorrow...we are getting tons of snow as we speak. I took her outside a couple days ago and sat her in the grass. It was a beautiful day out, she just sat there and felt the breeze on her face, eating leaves, watching her horses and calves in the pasture. One morning she was crawling around after she had eaten breakfast while I was cleaning her high chair off. It got really quiet, which usually means she is doing something she shouldn't, pulling on a chord, eating a dog toy, so off I go in search of her. That's when I found her under the kitchen table standing up...her head barely touching the underside of the table. I snuck up on her and when she saw me, she just cracked up. She loves to turn the pages of her books...and loves to read them over and over and over and over...where was I? The pictures with Howdy-Bob were funny...he likes to eat the little pieces of cereal that Laney throws off her chair...well she had a piece stuck to her hand and he figured it out and was chasing her around the kitchen licking her hand and trying to get it. Well he finally managed to get it and she grabbed him by the scruff of the neck, pulled his head up and put her face down to see what he was eating. He is just like Sadie...just loves her...or is just happy to have the attention. The costume pics are of Laney's elephant costume :) too cute...we went to the library today to story time with the other kids...Laney had a ball. Her peanut makes an elephant noise when you squeeze it, and she was showing people and squeezing it for them to hear. She was such a cutie. There was another little kid dressed as a cow that she kept pointing at and smiling...she is so cute! At the end of the day she was pretty pooped.
