Tana turns 3! Happy Thanksgiving! Ballerinas!

I didn't mean to be such a slacker on the blog, but I'm a serious slacker again...it's AZ...I get in vacation mode down here and forget my fans. :) Anyway, Tana had her 3rd birthday, we had a full house for Thanksgiving, Great Grandma Marge and Great Grandpa Cork celebrated their 65 wedding anniversary, and the girls started ballet. It's been busy. Both girls are growing so much so fast. Tana is in the full on "I do it myself" stage. SO independent. I love that Scott always takes credit for the harder stages, makes me laugh. They both are just growing up really fast. Laney helped me decorate Tana's birthday cake, she also helped to cook Thanksgiving dinner, made gravy with Mor Mor and helped stir on the stove. She's so careful and listens very well...she's very safe. Scott and roped a few days in there...my first Thanksgiving ever that I went to a roping ;) the roping even had cooked turkeys in these pits in the ground...we had dinner at home but good to know if we ever need a fallback plan for dinner. The girls started ballet classes. They did so well, and they loved it. Laney's been practicing all week. Brings back memories. They have a little minute and a half long performance in 2 weeks...so cute! Scott's back up in WY sorting and trucking cows to the sale barn these next couple weeks. I wish I was there to help him, although the weather is UGLY, -21F and blowing cold wind and snow....ugh...I feel horrible for the animals in that kind of storm, just seems unfair. Keep thinking warm thoughts for him and the critters up there.
