1 week post op...doing good
Wow, what a week. I've managed to get a full night sleep every night, make 3 square meals every day, do all the laundry, do all the dishes, clean the house top to bottom, take perfect care of my girls AND my husband, and keep the feedlot and all the cattle going without a hitch!! Well some of the above are true. Probably haven't averaged a night's worth of sleep over the last week in total, haven't cooked at all since before Scott's surgery, I think I rinsed a glass...definitely made some dirty laundry, and took perfect care of my girls and husband, cuz I'm the perfect wife and mother. Great Grampa Cork and Great Grama Marge have been here since Monday, she brought fresh veggies and has cooked and cleaned and done laundry and played with the girls...etc etc etc...they've been awesome. Our church has brought us a meal every day since we got home, which has been awesome...LOVE SONrise!! Thank you! Scott is doing really good. Had 3 days of physical therapy this week and is now pedaling on the stationary bike for 5 min. He's stiff in his muscles and gets tired, but is driving a little and getting up and around so well! He gets a bit grumpy at the fact of being cooped up, but that gets better everyday as he gains little bits of capability back. Pretty sure I'm going to use the 3rd picture of Tana riding the lawn mower as her senior slide show picture when she graduates...made Scott laugh so hard I may have hurt him.
