tall and skinny...and still lovin' "puh..peeee"

Laney is now measuring 32 1/2" tall and weighs 22 pounds. 95% for height, 40th for weight. She has cut 3 of her 4 front molars and is doing really well with those. She can't stop saying "puh-peeee" and she loves "maahhh" (mooing) for cows too. She is a big fan of being able to feed herself, it gets really messy...sometimes challenging to even tell if any has gone down her gullet. But she's constantly happy and now refuses to let me feed her, so we now have a power washer in the kitchen for the high chair, I turn down the power a little when using it on Laney, especially her face, and I'm now doing a load of her laundry every other day versus once a week. She is now acting out the stories that we read. When the book says that the puppies count themselves, she counts them on the page by pointing to each one as I read and count. She starts to sniff when the puppies or bunnies sniff, and she dances when the book says they dance before I even read it, she knows what is coming next. Her comprehension just amazes us. Scott and I now have her bring us her clothes to get dressed. We ask her to go get her shoes, her socks, her coat, and she goes and gets them. If she only brings one shoe, you can ask her to go get the shoe that matches and she does, she has never brought us a mis-matched pair and they are all within her reach. We ask her where an item of clothing goes on her body, she will either hold that part up or point to where it goes. And if you pretend to put it on a part where it doesn't belong she laughs and corrects you. She is such fun and so interactive now, just amazing how fast she changes.
