Happy "mahmah" Day

Happy Mah..Mah's Day :) Laney sounds really italian when she says mama now. We traveled to Grandpa Tim's and MorMor's for a visit on Saturday night, and Laney played the guitar with Mor Mor. She is really such a character anymore. We spent a beautiful day down in Colorado on Sunday, at the Kalcevic's (Danell, Kent, Tabor and Asia) house and wheat farm. A seriously impressive operation. Laney wasted no time getting to know the "puh..peees" on site :) It was a wonderful mother's day! We got a new border collie about two weeks ago. Lee is her name, she's about 8 months and LOVES Laney. The two immediately became buddies, although Newt was a little bent at first over her moving in on his girl. We also spent a couple days over in Rock River at the ranch we've leased to drop off some new cows and calves. Laney loves checking her cows. As they were coming off the trucks, she was waving and mooing at them. She is signing "drink" and "I want to hold" (she made that one up on her own) and now combining signs like "more milk" or "more eat" and "dog book". She seems to learn more by the second...keeping up and watching her learn is so fun.
