I'm a lion hear me roar!

Laney has discovered her voice in a big way this week. She started growling. She babbles so much now and growls at you when she "talks". She met another 7 month old baby who made a sound that sounded like she was clearing her throat all the time. Laney just stared when we were at her house, but the next morning she made the same sound all day! She is starting to mimic noises, luckily she forgot Sunday how to make that new sound! The hanging basket of flowers was my gift from Laney and Scott for my first Mother's Day! So sweet, and they gave me a gift certificate so that I can start my garden this spring too. The three of us went to Grandpa Tim's and Mor Mor's for Mother's day, and had a great time. Laney soaked up all the attention like a champ. She was a little whipped at the end of the day and had some chill time of her dad's lap. She also is almost rolling over the other direction now...she practices but just isn't quite there yet. She is so much more aware all the time of her world around her. She began reaching this week too. When someone else is holding her and I offer to take her, she reaches out for me, wow that will melt a heart quickly! She is almost laughing too! She has one little skip of a laugh that is just the cutest little sound ever! And her "small mouth" is getting so good, she's so cute! We just love her.
