Family Time

We finished at CFD, visited the Goshen County Fair, and spent some family time with relatives this week. Laney attempted to apply her sunscreen herself...then she wouldn't let me rub it in, so she went to CFD like the white face painted child you see in the picture. Papa and MorMor came up for a night while we were at Volk's in Cheyenne and we went to dinner. Laney was a little worn out from CFD :) We saw Melissa, who is currently Mrs. Colorado Galaxy, at CFD, she was in the parade and grand entry of the rodeo. Then we went to the Goshen County Fair for an hour to see the "pgy" (pigs) as Laney would say, then back to CFD for the last perf. Aunt Cathy and Uncle Richard were visiting from Kansas, so we went down to Fort Collins to have dinner, and Laney met her second cousin Charlotte (Amy and Aaron's daughter). They had a great time dancing and playing. Laney is now saying piggy but it comes out mostly as the "p" sound just a really long p. She also counts to 4 with her finger tapping on the page. She is 34 1/2" tall now and 24 pounds 4 oz. She changes by the second! New words are coming almost everyday. She is a real hambone and such a sweet spirit, we just love her to pieces.
