26 weeks
99 pregnant days to go, 99 pregnant days, take one down pass it around 98 pregnant days to go :) Ironic that a BEER song is so fitting. Today is 98 days on the countdown to the due date. Now whether Bun wants to stick to that time frame is a different story. I asked Baby if it was thinking that 98 more days sounded good, and all I got was a bunch of kicks...deciphering what those mean is tricky :) I'm feeling all the subtle movements now too, the shifts, the nudges, and of course the major statements it makes most all day and night. Similar to the Energizer bunny at this point :)
Bun is now a full 2 pounds, and can open it's eyes. The book says to pick up a chuck roast and that's my kid :) Last night we went into the nursery to take the belly pic and this is what we found. No, that's not my hairy Sasquatch baby, that's Howdy taking a snooze in the crib! I'm pretty sure he thought that was just for him. He seemed to like it very much.

I got your invite for the shower this weekend - can't wait to come see you in person!!
A trick for the cat since you will want to teach Howdy not to sleep in the crib once Baby arrives - put a bunch of tape rolls (packing tape works best) and put them all over the inside of the crib. When he jumps in he'll get the tape stuck to him and he'll HATE it. It's also freakin' hilarous, but it will teach him that the crib is a crappy place to nap.
Great pictures and good advice from Stacey - she would know with a cat and dog in the house as well as a baby. You are looking like you are counting down but it gets MUCH better and bigger...just you wait. You look wonderful...
